Kemiskinan adalah sebuah masalah pelik yang sangat sulit untuk ditemukan jalan penyelesaiannya. Hal ini dikarenakan belum adanya kesadaran massal terhadap masalah yang satu ini. PBB sendiri bahkan telah berupaya untuk melakukan segala perubahan dan mengambil berbagai tindakan untuk mengatasi masalah kemiskinan, namun usaha itu masih jauh dari keinginan. Dunia menunggu dan menunggu namun lambat laun masalah kemiskinan ini menjadi begitu riskan, tercatat hampir ratusan juta orang di seluruh penjuru dunia, masih berada di garis kemiskinan, bahkan hal ini juga terjadi di negara adi daya sendiri.
Jika ada pertanyaan bagaimana semua ini bisa terjadi, maka tentunya kita dapat menemukan berbagai alasan. Intinya tanpa kesadaran untuk memberantas kemiskinan secara massal maka kesejahteraan dunia tidak akan terwujud.
